2005 Annual Yard Sale/Fund Raiser

Once a year Kostroma Committee of Durham Sister Cities organizes a yard sale as a way to raise money for ongoing/upcoming projects. We also use this as an opportunity to tell the public about our events and our sister city in Russia.
The yard sale usually takes place in different locations. This year it took place at Watts Street Baptist Church in early May. Big thanks to the church for letting us use their facilities.
It does take a lot of preparation and effort to put this event together. We usually start collecting donations several months in advance. But it always turns out to be a very lively even and we all end up having fun.
This album will be updated with the date of our 2006 Yard Sale as soon as the date is set. Please, come and join us!
