The Toyoma Sister Cities Pavilion in the Sarah P. Duke Gardens
The Japanese-style pavilion in the Asiatic Arboretum of the Sarah P. Duke Gardens will serve as a symbol of the contributions made by SCD to the international life of Durham through its ongoing exchanges and other programs with its four Sister Cities. The project will bring attention to these ongoing relationships and provide the community with a facility that can be used for demonstrations, performances and other educational programs that will add to people's understanding of other cultures.
